I have been working on the details of the pigeon which I’m donating to the Blackpool Charity Auction. I have picked out a 2022 blue pied cock ‘2664’, bred in the purple. His sire is named Issac, a chequer pied cock bred by George & Brian Hunter of Dunfermline. He is inbred to their famous blue hen, Kingdom Spirit, a winner of 10 SNFC Diplomas. This wonderful hen is also a double SNFC Gold Award winner (pigeon has to win five times from France into Scotland to win a Gold Award). Kingdom Spirit and Fortune Lady are the only two pigeons within the history of the SNFC to win double Gold Awards.
