North York SRS held its second show on 9th October in the Thirsk town hall, which is a wonderful venue, with plenty of free parking and lots to do while judging takes place. The judges for the day were Frank Sheader, Andrew Temple and Dave Fussey and they had 221 birds to sort. All major honours went to the Secretary, Alistair Tankard, but Jim McTaggart took 2 x 1sts up to Scotland and John Barnes took three back to the west coast.
