Bussey & Chappell has been one of the top lofts in the Durham Combine for the past 20 years. They were top loft in the Durham Central Federation for 7 seasons straight from 2015-2021 and 16 times since 1999. During this time, they won many averages and accolades. Following the dissolution of the Durham Central Federation in 2021, the entire club joined the large Mid Durham South Federation for 2022 and again, unsurprisingly this loft had another outstanding season finishing top loft overall. In the last 6 seasons alone a total of 57 x 1st Club and 38 x 1st Fed can be attributed to this team of true performance pigeons. These pigeons will no doubt enhance the quality of the buyer’s stock loft and prove to be a sound investment for years to come.
Over the years the partnership invested heavily in birds from top lofts across the UK, including those of Soderland & Maddison and their famous ‘Dino’ (direct children and grandchildren in the sale) and others from top fanciers such as C Jackson of Dubmire, and Nelson, Hall & Ramm to name a but a few.
